These terms apply to this website and to every place booked on a route. By booking you accept them for everyone in your party.

Community catch reports this season

Route descriptions, photographs and grading are ours; please do not copy them for commercial use. We keep the pages accurate, but ground conditions change faster than any page can.

Pike fishing in winter

A place is confirmed only when we write back to say so. Payment terms and cancellation are set out on the booking page.

Perch catches by location

We supply all rods, shelters, tip-ups and safety gear for winter fishing. You arrange your own warm clothing, travel to the lake and insurance.

Ice fishing community gatherings

• Tell us honestly about your ice fishing experience and any health concerns
• Bring the cold-weather kit we list for your chosen season
• Follow your local guide's advice on ice safety and technique
• Arrive at the cabin in the bush at the time we set

Seasonal reports from local anglers

Weather, ice thickness or catch patterns can shift a guide's plan for the day. The guide makes that call on the water.

Fish counts

Winter fishing on mountain lakes carries real risk. We run trips with proper care and skill, but we are not responsible for losses from conditions beyond our control.
